Bollywood star couple Saif Ali Khan, 42, and Kareena Kapoor, 32, tied the knot today, October 16, in a registered marriage ceremony, at Fortune Heights, Saif's residence in Bandra, a western Mumbai suburb.
"It was a registered marriage with three witnesses -- Kareena's father Randhir Kapoor, her mother Babita and Saif's mother Sharmila Tagore," marriage registrar Surekha Ramesh said.
"The notice was submitted on September 12 and they had requested that the registry be held at their residence," she said, adding that they were charged the normal fee of Rs 1000.Kareena wore a green salwar-kurta with a heavy embellished red dupatta wrapped around her. She teamed it up with minimal jewelry, red bangles and left her hair open.

The couple's sangeet ceremony, held on October 14, was a closely guarded affair.
